Adult Training Courses

 

All uniformed adults must complete the following training:

• Fast Start Training  (Online)
• Youth Protection Training (Online)
• This is Scouting (Replaces New Leaders Essentials)  (Online)
• Boy Scout (Scoutmaster & Asst Scoutmaster) Leader Specific Training (BSALT)
• Outdoor Leadership Skills Training

The online courses are offered through the BSA Online Learning Center.  You can log in directly at MyScouting.org.  

You must complete the Youth Protection Training every 2 years.

If you are new, choose the create an account.  It will allow you to take courses without an ID, but it's best to get your Adult Scouting ID first before creating this account. 

NOTE:  Saving your training can be simple.  If you have the ability to print to PDF, use that and forward a copy to Mike Gouge, who maintains our training records.  If you do not have that ability, you can download Cute PDF Writer for free.  It is a virus free program which the webmaster has been running safely for years.
