North Carolina Zoo- The Zoo offers special programs for Cub Scouts (they can earn a patch too!) and even Sleepovers.
SciWorks- SciWorks holds special events throughout the year, as well as the annual SciWorks Cub Scout Sleepovers.
Patriots Point- Experience the fun of sleeping on a real Aircraft Carrier. Visit Fort Sumter and the South Carolina Aquarium.
North Carolina Transportation Museum- This museum located in Spencer, NC hosts numerous events during the year, including Cub Scout Day each July.
Horne Creek Living History Farm- Located in Pinnacle, NC this Historical site is practically in our backyards! They offer lots of hands on activites and turn-of-the-century fun, plus farm animals and apple orchards.
Old Salem- Another Historical site close by, Old Salem has several programs perfectly geared toward Cub Scouting, such as the Candle Teas and Independence Day Celebrations.
Historic Bethebara Park- Bethebara has several Colonial structures to tour and literally miles of trails winding through the countryside. Bethebara also holds Colonial Independence Day Celebrations with re-inactments and demonstrations of colonial activities.

Grandfather Mountain- There is lots to do from the Mile High Swinging Bridge to the animal habitats, plus special events like KidFest!
