Scouting came from England to America in 1910 and then came to Olathe Kansas just 20 years later. In 1930 Troop 86 was formed and is proud to be the oldest troop in Olathe. Not only does Troop 86 have a rich heritage within the Olathe community, we have also built a strong tie to Scouting. With a close-knit troop size of 48 active Scouts, the Troop is honored to have over 200 Eagle Scouts several of whom are still active today.
