NYLT-Summer

This summer, Piedmont Council will be conducting its annual National Youth Leadership Training Conference at Piedmont Council Reservation near Rutherfordton, NC.  The course will take place at the Training Center from June 25-30, 2017.

NYLT is designed for Scouts who are at least 13 years old, have First Class Skills, and currently hold or intend to hold a Troop leadership position.  A Scout must have participated in Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST)  or Introduction to Leadership Skills for Crews (ILSC),  must be mature enough and must be responsible enough to spend the week camping, and have his parent's and Scoutmaster’s or Crew Advisor's approval.

The cost of the course will be $225 In-Council by April 28, and $235 late rate. ($255 early rate for out-of-council and $265 late rate) and will be limited to the first 48 participants per course.  This fee includes all food, program materials, insurance, program expenses, T-shirt, neckerchief, name tag and a course patch.  Please click below to register on line or print off an application or pick one up at the Council Office.
